Location

Situated in South Asia’s largest Island Sri Lanka, we are located at Wadduwa which is a small town just 35 km south of the busy city of Colombo.Approximately 50 km from the Kutunayake International Airport.

The Kumbukgahawatta hotel been just 150 meters off Galle road  & only 1 kms away from  the  famous sun & beach  of  the  Indian  ocean. Our hotel is spread over a two acre coconut estate and also surrounded by many beautiful treas.

Accommodation

Beside  our standard  rooms  our  hotel consists of 06 cottages  with  02  special  cottages  which  are facilitated with A/C
All our cottages  are proved  with a private  garden  & parking facilities and are  recommended  for  honey  moon couples /young couples/ couples young  in  heart and also for families who wish to  hide  away  from  the  busy day  to  day Activities   and  relax  in  a village atmosphere with absolute peace  &  privacy.  

Food

Simple concept of freedom dining with no buffets.Guests are given the preference of selecting their individual menu of Sri Lankan, Western and Chinese from our special menu. However keeping  with  our  Sri  Lankan  tradition  we  recommended our  rural  based  Sri Lankan  dishes for  our valued guests  which  are  of  high  nutrition  & health  full.

Extra activities & facilities

If  you are a lover of  the  sunny  beach  you  could  enjoy a swim  in  the  southern  beach which is just 1km away for  which transport will be provided or you  could  experience the traditional style of  having a natural  crystal  clear  water  bath  from  a  large  well  which  is  located  in  the  hotel  compound. (ps, pool facilities  not  available)

Gusts  who  wish  to  spend  some  time  in  the  hotel  compound, our large  and  well  maintained  lawn  is  at  there  disposal  for  a  game  of  badminton and  for  those  who  prefer  a  indoor game, carom  facilities  are  available  in  a  separate  location.

Special  tour  arrangements  could  be  made  for  foreign  gusts  who  wish  to participate  in  water sports /  boat rides in river & sea / shopping  at  Colombo/village tours or  any  other 

Arrangements  could  also  be  made  for  any personal  requests.
